How to do Kegel Exercises

Did your OB-GYN tell you to start doing Kegel exercises to build your pelvic floor muscles?

Well I’m sure you’ve found that it’s not as simple as just squeezing and relaxing.

Whether you’re pregnant, looking to be pregnant soon, or already had a little ninja this exercise will be your best friend. ⁣

Doing Kegels can be essential to building pelvic floor strength which can assist in supporting pregnancy, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and the changes the body goes through along with child-birth. ⁣

Outside of pregnancy practicing effective Kegels can assist with mitigating urinary incontinence - which is something that women have been told is normal… which it’s not.

It is something that is commonly experienced among my lady ninjas but not a normal occurrence that women should have to live with. ⁣

Below I attached a video so you can practice getting those reps in to build the strongest cooch possible.

Now that you know how to regulate and sync your breathing with your Kegels here’s an exercise you can add (see video below)!

I would highly recommend doing this body-weight before loading it up so you can get comfortable with the technique. ⁣

This will be a game-changer for you! Try it out and let me know how it goes :)

Your friend,

Kimbo
